Where To Buy

I'm often asked where to get parts. I always get them from the same two places, Small Engine Parts Warehouse and The OEM Parts Store. Both shops have fair pricing, usually cheaper or similarly priced to other suppliers. They will also give you realistic timelines of when you can expect your parts. Basically, I feel like I'm dealing with humans and not some faceless corporation.

How To Find Part Numbers

I've listed some parts that commonly fail below. If you need something else, look for Replacement Parts List under your mower model in the Document Library.

Commonly Needed Replacement Parts

Charge Port

If using the old style Ryobi charger with a hollow circle in the charge plug or an aftermarket EZGO RXV style charger, you'll need to break the two plastic tabs inside the new charge port. This is easily done with a pair of needle nose pliers.

Body Panel Screws

These are T30 M6 x 16mm with a 13.5mm head. If you don't mind using a hex bit instead of a torx bit, you can get something similar on Amazon.

Body Panel Nut Clips

These are M6 nut clips, also called U nuts. You can get something similar on Amazon.

Mulch Plug

Key Switch

Often you can move the wires to the aux side of the switch to avoid having to replace it.
You can also use an aftermarket 19mm key switch. I use a file to flatten one side of the threads to fit the D-shaped hole in the panel.

PTO Switch

DC-DC Converter

Main Relay / Contactor

Blade Motor Bearings

See Greg Handley's video for changing bearings. I'll add bearing sizes for other models as I get them. Contact me if you have them.

Replacement Blades

It's best to use the stock blades on your mower. The biggest complaint is they are thin and bend easily when you hit a root. While blades from other Ryobi mowers and after market blades might fit, using a heavier blade will affect battery life. Others who have tried using heavier blades reported, when they hit something, instead of the blade bending, the motor shaft bent. So, stick with the stock blades and keep a spare set on hand just in case.

The blades are available from Home Depot or Ryobi. You can also sometimes find them on Direct Tools Factory Outlet.
